Derrick Vest serves as Head Golf Professional at Oaks Country Club, where he is dedicated to creating meaningful golf experiences that bring members, families, and friends together. He believes the best moments at the club happen when great golf, strong relationships, and a welcoming atmosphere come together — whether during competition, a casual round, or a social gathering.

Known for his creative, hands-on leadership style, Derrick oversees daily golf operations while developing innovative programs, tournaments, and experiences designed to engage players of all ages and skill levels. His focus is on preserving tradition while continuously elevating the member experience through thoughtful, forward-looking ideas.

Outside of the club, Derrick enjoys time with his wife, Annie, their children, Sawyer and Jones, and their two dogs, Seamus and Lucky. Derrick actively volunteers with the South Central PGA, Association of Golf Merchandisers and is active in several golf leadership networks.
